GDPR General Statement

Journease is committed to European General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) compliance, which took effect on May 25, 2018.

Journease continues to take many steps to protect the personal data of our customers, including but not limited to:

• Transparency with regard to the use of data.

• That any processing is lawful, fair and transparent and necessary for a specific purpose.

• That data is accurate, kept up to date and removed when no longer necessary.

• That data is kept safely and securely.

• Journease SaaS offerings are provided using established and industry-leading cloud services platforms. These providers have stated their commitment to compliance with GDPR.

Journease’ hosted solutions may be used by customers for, among other things, the collection, processing, and storage of personal data. In such cases, Journease acts as a data processor. Customers generally act as the data controller deciding what data to collect, how long it is stored and how it is used. Since each business is unique, Journease recommends that each company perform their own GDPR gap assessment.
